Our Digital Strategy provides focus and coordination of our efforts to help students thrive in a digital world, create an easy and engaging customer experience, driving agility and operational efficiency to better achieve our outcomes.

About our role

As part of our organisation’s growth journey, we have a newly created opportunity for a Senior Leader to own and lead our roadmap on Digital Transformation roadmap.

You will be focusing on enhancing our Agile capabilities, operational efficiency, and effective governance. Concurrently, you will set technology standards, and ensure alignment of Digital and Transformation initiatives with the overall organisational strategy

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and leading the execution of the Digital and Transformation strategy roadmap
  • Building business agility and capability in and operationalising Digital Ways of Working
  • Change Management - Enhancing the organisation’s capability to implement and embrace high volumes of change.
  • Architecture and Tech Solution Standards - Establishing and maintaining a design authority that shapes and enforces architecture and technology solution standards
  • Leading a team of people managers, building capability and skilling across our Digital Strategy & Transformation Team
  • Program/Project Management – overseeing and monitoring the portfolio of projects across departments

About you

As an energetic Senior Leader, you are focused on our Digital Transformation roadmap and translating this strategy into actionable plans that support the larger organisational strategy.

As a leader of managers across diverse teams, you will play a key part in enhancing operational efficiency, agility, and effectiveness.

You will play a key role in setting technology standards and managing the governance, risk, and compliance framework for our Digital and Transformation business.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and at least 5 years in senor leadership role
  • Proven track record in successfully leading transformation programs
  • Proven experience in driving organisational strategy and alignment with business goals.
  • Governance Expertise: Strong background in implementing and managing Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks, with a focus on technology projects.
  • Program Management: Experience in leading a Project Management Office (PMO), including program delivery within time and budget constraints.
  • Risk Management: Skills in identifying and mitigating risks, particularly in program delivery and technology investments.
  • Leadership: Experience leading a team of managers, and leading diverse teams
  • Strategic thinking and problem solving
  • Coaching and training skills
  • Negotiation and influencing skills
  • Initiator / self-starter
  • Ability to plan and anticipate
  • Ability to work in the day to day whilst keeping focus on the bigger picture
