As we continue to grow and diversify our revenue base, we are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Partnerships Manager (Strategic Partnerships & Growth) to help lead the next phase of our partnership strategy.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Head of Revenue, the Senior Partnerships Manager (Strategic Partnerships & Growth) will play a critical role in securing, growing and retaining strategic partnerships that support the long-term sustainability and impact of Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras.

You will manage a portfolio of corporate, media and strategic partners while identifying opportunities to grow revenue, increase partner engagement and deliver exceptional experiences for our partners and communities.

This is a role for someone who enjoys both commercial growth and relationship building. You will work across partnership development, renewals, sponsorship strategy, activations, account growth and commercial planning.

Importantly, this role is not solely focused on servicing existing partnerships. We are looking for someone who can help grow our partnership portfolio, identify new opportunities and contribute to the future growth of the organisation.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Developing and managing a portfolio of strategic corporate, media and commercial partners;
• Building strong executive and stakeholder relationships across partner organisations;
• Driving partnership renewals, upselling opportunities and long-term revenue growth;
• Identifying and securing new partnership opportunities aligned to organisational priorities;
• Developing compelling partnership proposals, presentations and commercial opportunities;
• Delivering high-quality partnership activations across Festival and year-round programs;
• Working collaboratively with Marketing, Content, Festival & Events and Revenue teams to maximise partner value;
• Managing partnership reporting, forecasting and pipeline activity;
• Contributing to the ongoing evolution of the Mardi Gras partnership program.

ABOUT YOU

You are a relationship-driven commercial professional who understands how to create value for both partners and the organisations you represent.

You combine strong stakeholder management skills with commercial acumen and enjoy working in environments where creativity, purpose and business outcomes intersect.

YOU WILL BRING:

• Experience managing and growing corporate partnerships, sponsorships or strategic accounts;
• Demonstrated success achieving revenue or commercial growth targets;
• Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement capability;
• Experience developing proposals, presentations and partnership opportunities;
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills;
• Strong commercial and analytical capability;
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work autonomously;
• A genuine passion for building mutually beneficial partnerships.

Experience in sponsorship, partnerships, events, media, sport, entertainment, arts, not-for-profit or purpose-led organisations will be highly regarded.
