Join an incredible little organisation with a big job to do as a Community Development Officer.
In this dynamic role, you'll work hand in hand with our Aged Care Advocates to make a real difference in the lives of older people! You will take the stage at public events and community gatherings, delivering engaging presentations to raise awareness of our services and empower older people with self-advocacy tools. You will develop and implement innovative strategies to promote Seniors Rights Service to community groups and organisations dedicated to supporting older people, with an aim of increasing awareness of the National Aged Care Advocacy Program and the crucial role our service plays in championing the rights of older people.
In this role, you’ll showcase your exceptional communication, networking and negotiation skills as you forge impactful relationships that lead to enhancing engagement with our advocacy services. Your creativity will shine as you elevate community awareness through the creation and update of informative fact sheets and resources tailored for non-aged care settings. Plus, you’ll play a key role in shaping effective policies and procedures that bolster our mission.
Embrace this exciting opportunity to use your passion for advocacy to pave the way for change and ensure that every older person has a voice!
