Ronald McDonald House Victoria & Tasmania

Design with purpose. Shape a global brand. Make a real impact.

Are you a talented Graphic Designer who loves bringing brands to life across digital, print and real-world spaces?

Ronald McDonald House Charities Victoria & Tasmania is entering an exciting phase of global brand modernisation, and we’re looking for a Graphic Designer to play a hands-on role in rolling out our refreshed brand across the Chapter.

This is a rare opportunity to work on a high-profile brand transformation — creating beautiful, consistent and meaningful design assets that directly support families with seriously ill children.

The role is a full-time, fixed term - 12 months.

Who are we?

Ronald McDonald House Charities is one of the leading Global and Australian children’s charities, supporting the ever-changing needs of seriously ill children and their families.

For more than 35 years, RMHC Victoria & Tasmania has been keeping families close to the care they need, providing accommodation, programs and support across Victoria and Tasmania when it matters most.

Your impact

As the Graphic Designer, you’ll support the rollout of RMHC’s modernised brand identity across digital, print and signage assets. Working closely with the Supporter Marketing & Experience team and the Brand Modernisation Project Coordinator, you’ll deliver high-quality design assets while also enabling internal teams to confidently use Canva templates and apply brand best practice.

This role balances hands-on design delivery, brand governance, and capability building — perfect for a designer who enjoys collaboration, consistency and purpose-driven work.

What you’ll be doing:

Brand rollout & asset delivery

  • Rebrand digital, print and signage assets in line with the new RMHC global brand identity
  • Refresh campaign and event identities to align with updated brand guidelines
  • Prepare assets for staged and phased brand launch dates
  • Deliver high-quality design outputs to agreed timelines and briefs

Template development & Canva enablement

  • Rebuild and rationalise the Chapter’s Canva template library
  • Create clear, easy-to-use, brand-aligned templates for internal teams
  • Support staff to confidently and correctly use templates

Brand governance & quality control

  • Review and approve externally facing assets during the brand rollout period
  • Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency, quality and adherence to guidelines
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback to internal stakeholders

Collaboration & capability building

  • Work collaboratively with teams across the organisation to support design needs
  • Deliver Canva training, tools and guidance to improve internal capability
  • Educate teams on design best practice and brand application

Who are you?

You’re a detail-driven, collaborative designer who enjoys working within a strong brand framework while still bringing creativity to your work. You’re confident working across multiple stakeholders, managing competing priorities, and supporting non-designers to produce high-quality assets.

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or equivalent experience
  • Mid-weight experience delivering graphic design across digital and print channels
  • Experience supporting brand rollouts or rebrands across multiple touchpoints
  • Strong proficiency in Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Experience building and managing Canva template libraries
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management skills
  • Clear communication skills and confidence providing constructive feedback
  • A genuine interest in purpose-driven work

Experience in the not-for-profit or health sector, and experience delivering Canva training, will be highly regarded.

Why join us?

  • Be part of a high-profile global brand modernisation project
  • Make a meaningful impact for families with seriously ill children
  • Enjoy generous benefits including salary packaging, 10 wellbeing days per year, and access to Sonder, our world-class EAP with nurse-on-call and retail discounts
  • Work flexibly in a hybrid environment
  • Join a supportive, collaborative and values-led organisation
