As a Recovery Support Worker, you'll walk alongside people transitioning from hospital back into community life, helping them build confidence, strengthen connections, and work towards goals that matter to them. Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support people transitioning from hospital back into community life
  • Build positive relationships that promote confidence, wellbeing, and independence
  • Assist individuals to identify goals and take steps towards achieving them
  • Support community participation and connection with services and natural supports
  • Engage with families, health professionals, and community stakeholders to support positive outcomes
  • Deliver person-centred support that reflects individual needs and aspirations
  • Maintain accurate records using digital systems and mobile technologies
  • Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development

What You'll Bring

  • A degree in a human services related field with at least one year of relevant experience, or less formal qualifications with substantial relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience supporting people living with mental ill health
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, health professionals, and community stakeholders
  • A genuine passion for empowering people and supporting positive outcomes
  • A strong sense of professional boundaries, integrity, and accountability
  • Confidence using digital systems and mobile technologies
