When a child is diagnosed with cancer, it affects the whole family. In the daunting and unpredictable experience that follows diagnosis, a child needs as much stability and support from their family as possible.
Redkite is a lifeline for families, providing real emotional, financial and practical support. Because holding it together when your child’s life is in question can feel impossible.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Project & Program Support Officer to join a growing organisation that is fast paced and client focused. This role requires an enthusiastic person who is passionate about health and/or social services, who has strong project coordination and/or management experience, including administration and stakeholder engagement skills. Importantly, you’ll need a desire to grow and learn in a busy and broad service delivery environment.
The Project & Program Support Officer role will focus on providing a high-level program development and project support function to the Redkite Services team in its mission to support children with cancer and their families.
This role will work within the Services Team and in this role the successful candidate will be encouraged and supported to further develop their project management skills.
Your ability to work autonomously, whilst working closely with other members of the team is integral to this role, as are your strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
The position is ideal for someone who has had some experience in project and/or program coordination and change management.
