About us

Relationships Australia WA is a leading not-for-profit organisation committed to excelling in the delivery of direct services to people and communities that build self-confidence and develop and maintain safe and healthy relationships.

With over 350 staff providing a range of support services across 26 metropolitan and regional locations in Western Australia, Relationships Australia WA is recognised for its highly skilled counsellors, mediators, community workers, mental health practitioners and family support workers.

Over the past 18 years the retiring Chief Executive Officer has developed practice excellence and innovation, established relationships with key consortium and government bodies, and built a dedicated specialist team that delivers quality services and relationship restoration to people and communities.

About the role

We seek an individual with strong executive management experience, including work with Boards, to lead client and community focused initiatives to further develop the organisation’s capacity to deliver. Community demand for services continues to grow and the Chief Executive Officer will have the opportunity to develop innovations across various areas. A considered approach to relationships and leadership will be important to lead the organisation, maintain operational excellence and meet strategic, physical, financial and governance milestones.

This is a unique opportunity for a proven executive to lead a highly regarded values-based organisation to deliver critical relationship support and mental health services to the community. The remuneration package is commensurate for a leading not-for-profit that is a stand-alone entity in WA, and a key member of the National Federation of Relationships Australia which operates in all States and Territories. The Chief Executive Officer of Relationships Australia WA is on the National Executive.
