This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, experienced Youth Mental Health Clinician at our Bairnsdale centre to join Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV).

About the role

  • As a Youth Mental Health Clinician, you will be providing youth-centred clinical mental health support within the YES service, reporting to the Manager Youth Mental Health Services.
  • Your role will involve building rapport with young people and their supports, managing a clinical caseload of complex presentations, completing bio-psycho-social and risk assessments, and delivering evidence-based interventions.
  • You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, outcomes-focused care aligned with the YES model, including ongoing risk management, clinical review, and collaboration with community and partner services.

We are offering

A temporary, part-time position, working 4 (four) days per week until June 2027, which includes one evening shift. The base salary range is $98,027 - $105,084 (pro-rata) per annum.

About you

  • Degree-qualified allied health professional with AHPRA registration or AASW membership and a current driver’s license.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills, able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working effectively with culturally diverse clients, communities, and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the needs of young people, including rural/remote, CALD, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, and LGBTQI+ communities.
