We have over 400 dedicated employees working from 21 centres across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.

About the role

Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will deliver evidence-based relationship education and parenting programs, including Tuning into Kids, Tuning into Kids Afghan, and the Respect and Connect under SFVS in Southern Melbourne. You will be working collaboratively with families, schools, and community partners, you will facilitate engaging group programs that strengthen relationships, build parenting capability, and support positive outcomes for children, families, and the wider community.

This role is located at Cranbourne and is a casual position working with hourly rate of $64.12 to $65.93 inclusive of the casual loading.

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or a related allied health discipline, with eligibility for membership of the relevant professional body.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children, young people and families, including facilitating group programs and conducting risk assessments to deliver safe, client-centred support.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and build positive relationships with diverse clients, schools and community stakeholders.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence, strong computer skills (Microsoft Office), and the ability to meet pre-employment requirements, including a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
