About the role

  • As a qualified Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP), you will be working with our team of highly skilled and dedicated practitioners, reporting to the Centre Manager
  • You will be providing FDR support to separating couples by assisting to resolve issues in dispute such as parenting arrangements, property settlements and developing parenting plans.
  • Your responsibilities will include providing conflict resolution, parent education, a framework for negotiation, undertaking assessments and mediation, group work (as required), providing information, support, and referrals to match presenting needs to services and programs.

We are offering

A permanent, full-time position which includes one evening shift currently on Tuesdays. The base salary range is $98k-$105k per annum with access to salary packaging of $18,550 per annum.

While this role provides FDRP services within the Shepparton region, there is the option for the successful candidate to provide these services flexibly, requesting to work from another of RAV’s centres (see RAV centre locations).

About you

  • A tertiary qualification in social sciences (psychology, social work), law or dispute resolution or related field and/or substantial and demonstrable experience as a practicing FDRP.
  • Graduate Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution.
  • Accreditation as an FDRP with the Attorney-General’s Department.
  • Experience/or training in property mediation, or willing to undertake training (desirable).
