RAV is a successful, thriving, innovative and financially sound organisation that has been providing effective relationship services to Victorians for over 75 years. You will be joining a skills based and cohesive Board and working with an established CEO and experienced Board Chair. Board positions are paid.

Clinical Governance: RAV is seeking expressions of interest from a practice specialist with extensive experience in one or more of the following settings: Child, family and couple therapy, family violence prevention and treatment, child protection, family law dispute resolution, mental health. The successful candidate will need to have experience sitting on clinical governance committees or similar boards.

In addition to practice expertise the successful candidate will need to have the experience and skills required to fulfil the responsibilities of a board member of a large not-for-profit Board.   • Number of Board Members: 9
  • Community Segment: Family Relationships Services, Mental Health Services, Family Dispute
  • Resolution and Family Violence
  • Board Meetings (frequency): 8 per annum
  • Board Meetings Held: Late afternoon Tuesday, RAV Central office, Camberwell
  • Additional Commitments: Committee Meetings (4 per annum), Annual Strategy Planning Days, Professional Training, AGM

We achieve our aims through effective therapeutic services, advocacy, education and training, peer support and consultation. Our funding primarily comes from the Commonwealth and State Governments.
