We are seeking a passionate, driven, talented and innovative individual to coordinate and deliver sector capacity building and engagement initiatives that support other not for profit organisations to provide energy efficiency advice and activities to reduce energy costs for vulnerable Queenslanders including renters.

About you:

You have a passion for work that creates meaningful change, and you seek to contribute through your career. You will have:

  • relevant qualifications in Human Services, Community Development or similar (desirable), and/or relevant demonstrated experience to fulfil the requirements of the role
  • high level demonstrated project management skills coupled with excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • demonstrated understanding of issues related to energy literacy
  • high level demonstrated experience using contemporary and participatory engagement and consultation processes
  • strong administration and ICT experience using the Microsoft Office suite and CRMs with high level analytical skills and ability to analyse and utilise data to inform decision making
  • a strong understanding and commitment to the work of QCOSS and our commitment to social justice.

What you will get:

We will offer you a flexible, exciting, rewarding part-time (22.8 hrs/week) fixed term position (concludes 31 December 2025) in a great place to work.

All this plus a competitive remuneration package between $95,737 - $100,064 per annum (pro rata part-time) dependent on relevant qualifications and experience to fulfil the requirements of the position.

Superannuation of 12% and salary packaging benefits apply in addition to flexible work arrangements including working from home, flex time and time off in lieu provisions.
