About the opportunity

Primary Health Tasmania is dedicated to improving health services for Tasmanians and our business support teams play a pivotal role in carrying out our services commissioning and health system improvement activities.

We have a rare opportunity for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic professional to join our Business and Finance team as Manager – Corporate Quality and Compliance who will oversee the efficient management of funding agreements and champion and lead the quality management process.

What you would be doing

Reporting to the General Manager – Business and Finance you will:

  • Provide leadership and direction in business processes related to compliance with funding contracts, including coordination and drafting of reports associated with contract deliverables
  • Manage the corporate policy library and the document management system
  • Further develop our quality management system with the key deliverable of achieving accreditation to the ISO9001 Standard by December 2025
  • Oversee the data governance framework including privacy policies

Here's what you’ll look like

  • Tertiary degree, post graduate qualifications or equivalent significant experience in corporate governance, risk, quality and/or contract management
  • Proven track record of managing funding agreements, communicating with funding stakeholders and compliance reporting
  • Competency in using SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 apps
  • Experience in quality management systems accredited to ISO9001 would be advantageous
  • Ability to lead a small team, support and promote change and inspire direction and purpose in others
