Through funding innovative programs, research and advocacy, Movember focuses on mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. The Movember Institute of Men’s Health brings together global expertise to deliver impact at scale, working across countries including Australia, Aotearoa (New Zealand), and Canada.
At its core, Movember is focused on driving meaningful, community-led change, working in close partnership with Indigenous communities and supporting culturally grounded approaches that strengthen men’s health outcomes and empower communities. Movember fosters a collaborative, cross-functional and impact-focused environment, with a strong emphasis on culturally competent and relational ways of working.
This is a significant global leadership role responsible for leading the design, delivery and evaluation of Movember’s Indigenous programs. Reporting to the Chief Impact Officer, you will lead the Indigenous portfolio and drive impact across a range of initiatives focused on Indigenous men’s health and wellbeing. You will oversee a distributed, international team, including in-country Program Managers, supported by a Portfolio Manager. Working closely with internal teams across monitoring, evaluation & learning, marketing, advocacy, research and operations, you will ensure programs are delivered effectively and aligned to broader organisational goals.
A key focus of the role is building strong, respectful relationships with Indigenous communities and partners, ensuring programs are community-led and grounded in culturally informed approaches. You will also contribute at a senior leadership level, supporting governance processes, advisory committees and broader organisational priorities. This role involves international engagement and collaboration, with international travel required approximately 1- 2 times per year.

You are a senior leader with deep experience working in Indigenous-led initiatives and a strong commitment to community-led outcomes. You bring a strategic mindset, with the ability to translate vision into action and deliver measurable impact across complex, cross-cultural environments. You are highly relational in your approach, with demonstrated experience building trusted partnerships with Indigenous communities and stakeholders.
You are a collaborative and inclusive leader who empowers teams, fosters growth and creates a culture of continuous learning and accountability. You are comfortable operating at a global level, navigating complexity, and challenging traditional approaches to drive innovation and meaningful change. Experience in Indigenous health or related sectors will be highly regarded.
