We are a disability services organisation in the midst of a large-scale transformation. We have big dreams and aspirations, and we need help to get there.
MLV is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administration Support Officer to provide administrative support across all areas of our disability services organisation. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of the business by delivering efficient administrative services and maintaining high standards of documentation, compliance, and record management.
A key focus of the position is the collection of, monitoring, and maintenance of documentation to support organisational compliance, continuous improvement, and best practice service delivery. Working collaboratively with teams across the organisation, the successful candidate will assist with document control, reporting, data management, policy and procedure administration, and general business support activities.
A key component of the role is developing and maintaining a broad understanding of MLV’s systems, processes, services, and operational practices. This knowledge enables the Administration Support Officer to provide effective support, respond to enquiries, facilitate information sharing, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment. Experience in administration, quality systems, compliance, or the disability and community services sector will be highly regarded.
MLV delivers services in a number of community venues, mainly across the Frankston and Cranbourne areas, and travel between these locations will be required in this role.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to an organisation committed to delivering high-quality services that empower people with disability to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
Certificate III or IV in Business Administration, Business, Human Resources, Community Services, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience would be of benefit, but not required.
Previous experience in an administrative support role.
Experience working with confidential records and compliance-based documentation.
Experience within the disability, community services, health, or not-for-profit sector would be advantageous.
Suitable applicants may be invited to interview prior to the closing date. Where an outstanding candidate is identified during the recruitment process, an offer of employment may be made before applications officially close.
