This role will advance a 5-year partnership between Our Watch and the Tasmanian Government to inform policy development and build sector and government capability relating to the primary prevention of gender-based violence in Tasmania.
The Our Watch Senior Advisor, Tasmania, located in Hobart reports to the Manager, Prevention Strategy and Policy Development, Our Watch, and works closely with the, Prevention of Family and Sexual Violence team and various Tasmanian Government agencies
The partnership includes a range of activities, led by the Senior Advisor, including stakeholder and policy engagement and advice, identifying opportunities to build primary prevention in Tasmania, linking prevention work across diverse settings, and providing ongoing policy advice to the Tasmanian Government.
The role will continue this work to consolidate and enhance Tasmania’s primary prevention capacity with a focus on policy advice and development.
