About the OCRF

Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF) is Australia’s largest independent funder of ovarian cancer medical research. Ovarian cancer is one of the most lethal cancers with a five-year survival rate that has barely changed in 50 years, languishing below 50 per cent. It is also chronically underfunded. Addressing health disparity and funding inequity in cancer research is fundamental to achieving higher survival rates for ovarian cancer.

Through raising funds, awareness, and investing in innovative research, the OCRF is working to rewrite this story and improve outcomes for people with ovarian cancer now, and in the future. Our goal is to raise the current 5-year survival rate from 49 per cent to greater than 90 percent.
