About the Opportunity

The Regional Health Integration Manager Central Australia, provides strong and effective leadership in place-based commissioning of primary health services and programs that are responsive to local and regional needs. This role leads a team that supports a coordinated and effective contract relationship and partnership approach with commissioned providers and key stakeholders to support delivery of high performing and responsive services that improve health outcomes for the population.

About You

This role is also responsible for providing senior leadership of the Alice Springs office and senior representation of NT PHN with external stakeholders in the Central Australia and Barkly regions. If you are a professional who exercises initiative, discretions and judgement, an experienced leader and communicator, can liaise with a wide range of stakeholders who operate in a diverse and culturally sensitive environment, and have the following skills and abilities, we would love to chat!

  • Knowledge or training equivalent to a relevant postgraduate qualification (or working towards) and/or extensive leadership experience in the primary health care sector or other related health management field.
  • Excellent customer and contract relationship management and partnership development skills especially working with rural and remote communities, across multiple locations and diverse stakeholders in an environment requiring cultural and political sensitivity.
  • Excellent communication, engagement, and conflict management skills in a leadership capacity
  • Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholder groups, with a demonstrated ability to influence, inform and guide others in achieving shared outcomes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and guiding change management in complex and dynamic settings
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing a high performing team across multiple projects and/or locations.
