The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for leading the strategic direction, governance, transformation and operational delivery of the organisation’s digital, data and technology capability. This executive role will drive the next phase of NT PHN’s digital maturity, positioning the organisation as a leader in data-enabled primary health care, digital innovation and connected systems across the Northern Territory.
Leading multidisciplinary functions across Digital Transformation, Enterprise Information Management, Cyber Security, Data Governance, ICT Operations and Digital Health Initiatives, the CIO will play a pivotal role in modernising the organisation’s digital ecosystem, uplifting capability and embedding a contemporary, insights-driven and digitally connected culture.
The CIO will champion reform and innovation across both internal enterprise systems and externally facing digital health initiatives, ensuring technology and data are leveraged to improve organisational performance, strengthen commissioning capability, support strategic decision-making and deliver better health outcomes for communities.
As the organisation’s principal data and digital leader, the CIO acts as custodian of NT PHN’s digital and information assets, ensuring strong governance, stewardship, security and ethical use of data while fostering innovation, interoperability and future-focused service delivery.
The role will work closely with executive leadership and key partners to establish NT PHN as a recognised leader in digital health, data intelligence and contemporary system design within the primary health sector.
