Nairm Marr Djambana is looking for an energetic, driven and hardworking manager to manage our new Social and Emotional Wellbeing Team.

• 24-month full-time contract (with the possibility of an extension)

About us

Nairm Marr Djambana is a not-for-profit Aboriginal Gathering Place and Neighbourhood House that provides culturally strengthening services to the First Nations community in the Frankston area. We are a small, dedicated and fun team that are committed to the health, wellbeing and happiness of our community.

About the role

Reporting to Nairm Marr Djambana’s General Manager, the Social and Emotional Wellbeing Coordinator will manage a small, dedicated team to deliver Nairm Marr Djambana’s programs, events and activities for the First Nations community.

About you

To be our Social and Emotional Wellbeing Coordinator, you:

• will have a background in social work, community services, community development or a related discipline
• will enjoy managing a small team and motivating and developing staff
• have experience working with First Nations communities and be able to work effectively and sensitively with First Nations people and services
• have knowledge of the social and cultural determinants of health for First Nations people and the barriers to accessing healthcare
• have experience in program development, implementation and evaluation.
