We're seeking a DFV Specialist - Wellbeing and Recovery Counsellor who shares our passion and is ready to join our team and contribute to the meaningful work we do in meeting the needs of our community.
As the DFV Specialist - Wellbeing and Recovery Counsellor, you'll focus on provision of services to meet the needs of women who have experienced Domestic and Family Violence. Key to this role is the support of women at the time of crisis, keeping women safe, and assisting women to achieve case plan goals to move toward longer-term wellbeing and recover.
You are responsible for specialist domestic and family violence intervention counselling, case management, crisis response, risk assessment, safety planning, court assistance, education, and integrated service responses within a trauma-informed practice framework to support the safety of, and enhance the lives of, women and their children.
This role will support and encourage organisational standards and compliance, modelling professional workplace standards, and working positively and protectively with the CEO, Practice Manager, and the staff team.
In addition, you will work within the practice principles, standards and guidelines for Domestic and Family Violence Services.
