Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters or exclusion from healthcare. Working from the office 4 days per week, reporting to the Senior Strategy and Projects Manager this key role will ensure the day-to-day management of the Ultimo office environment for MSF Australia. You will implement process and policy for effective office and associated facilities management; travel booking management; WHS compliance and the safeguarding of assets, documents, and staff. Your delivery of administrative services will support the organisations overall effectiveness, safety and staff wellbeing.
With a focus on creating efficiencies within the office management function this role will be the point of contact for office based events and internal communications; supporting the board with admin; general office supplies procurement; and vendor management.
To be successful in this highly visible role, you will be known for your ability to prioritise and balance multiple operational demands while maintaining high quality service levels. You will be motivated by working in a humanitarian aid organisation and ideally can demonstrate the following:
