The Brisbane Domestic Violence Service (BDVS) is the specialist domestic violence service for the Brisbane metropolitan region. BDVS provides free and confidential services to adults and children impacted by domestic and family violence, with a focus on achieving safety and stability. Working from contemporary evidence-based best practice models, BDVS delivers crisis and case management, outreach, groups, safety planning, court support, information and referral, programs for men who perpetrate DFV, and psycho-social education.
As the BDVS Administration Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the operational and administrative functions of the Brisbane Domestic Violence Service. You will help ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of daily office operations, support frontline staff, and contribute to a professional, trauma-informed environment for participants. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, you will provide administrative, data management, and coordination support that enables frontline workers to prioritise participant needs effectively.
This is a full-time employment opportunity at Level 4 of the SCHADS Award.
