More about the role:

The Program Lead will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the McGrath Breast Care Nurse (MBCN) program, building strong engagement and relationships with a portfolio of MBCNs. Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Working closely with Line Managers and key stakeholders to ensure MBCNs are well supported operationally within their role.
  • Working closely with Clinical Leaders to embed the McGrath Model of Care for new MBCNs / new positions within Health Services.
  • Coordinating inductions, position check-ins, contract renewals, State based and regional Nurse meetings, attendance at conferences for MBCNs, collaborating with wider Foundation teams to facilitate the gathering of nurse stories and media opportunities.
  • Ensuring accuracy of nursing management records in Salesforce and assisting with processing / analysing Nurse Portal information.

Who we are looking for:

For this role, we are looking for a personable and organised individual with a mix of the following experience, qualifications, and skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Health Sciences, Public Health or Allied Health.
  • Experience in a health-related field working with key stakeholders at various levels is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of operating environment (breast cancer environment, nursing, health services).
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and time management skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, project expenditure and delivering organisational outcomes.
