Our Community Economic Development Managers (CEDM) work with Indigenous communities that want to establish economic activity on their land and sea. Our CEDMs provide governance, management and planning support that is requested and required to strengthen organisational capacity needed to build and manage sustainable enterprises and employment. This is done through trusted relationships where Many Rivers supports the expressed goals of each community supported. This position will be based in Cairns working across Far North Queensland and the Torres Strait and reports to the Head of Community Economic Development, supporting and driving our Mission.
Some of the role’s key responsibilities include:
