About the role

In this pivotal role, you will be a trusted partner to the CEO and a key contributor to effective governance and executive operations. You will provide high-level executive support, coordinate Board and committee processes, manage board papers, and act as a key liaison between senior leaders, Board members, and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing executive-level support to the CEO, including diary management, briefings, correspondence, and meeting preparation
  • Coordinating Board and committee meetings, including scheduling, logistics, minute-taking, and governance compliance
  • Overseeing the preparation, collation, and quality assurance of Board papers
  • Managing confidential information with the highest level of integrity and discretion
  • Supporting CEO-led strategic projects and executive reporting
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory requirements

About You

You will bring strong executive judgement, exceptional organisation skills, and a calm, professional approach.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as an Executive Assistant or in a senior administrative role supporting C-suite executives
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Boards and preparing Board papers
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of discretion and professionalism
  • Experience within a not-for-profit or values-driven organisation (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of corporate governance frameworks and compliance requirements (Desirable)
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency with full work rights required
