Link Health and Community (Link HC) supports people in our community by providing a range of health and support services, such as GPs, Dentists, Allied Health and counselling as well as Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) as a Community Partner of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Link HC is located across Inner Eastern Melbourne, Outer Eastern Melbourne, Southern Melbourne, Inner Gippsland and Outer Gippsland areas.

Our Family Violence Program aims to promote the safety and well-being of victim survivors whilst holding perpetrator’s accountable for their behaviour. The Senior Practitioner will hold a caseload of clients and deliver high quality, person-centred counselling, casework and group facilitation to clients to prevent family violence and to empower all of those affected by it.

An exciting opportunity has been made available for a Senior Practitioner to oversee the Family Violence Program. This is an ongoing part time appointment (0.8) for a practitioner with experience in clinical and operational leadership.

Working collaboratively with the Manager, the Senior Practitioner will notify and organise program activities, quality improvements, professional and practice development, receive support and strategic guidance. The Senior Practitioner will also represent the Family Violence programs within Link HC, community partners and networks as applicable.

To be successful in this position you must have the following:

• Significant experience in the field of family violence
• Relevant tertiary level qualification
• Membership with relevant professional body
• Graduate Certificate in Men’s Behaviour Change
• Experience as a clinical supervisor
• Demonstrated understating of MARAM and information sharing schemes
• Current national police check (and if applicable International Police Check) and employee working with children check.
