Help Shape the Next Generation of Generosity

Kids Giving Back is one of Australia's leading youth volunteering charities, empowering children and young people aged 5–18 to make a meaningful difference through hands-on volunteering that builds empathy, leadership and a lifelong commitment to giving back.

Since 2012, more than 84,000 young people have participated in over 2,000 programs, preparing hundreds of thousands of meals and essential items for people experiencing homelessness, hardship and social isolation, while creating positive outcomes for participants, charity partners and the wider community.

As we enter an exciting new phase of growth, we are seeking three passionate Non-Executive Directors to join our Board.

This is an opportunity to use your professional expertise to help guide the strategic direction of a growing organisation that is creating lasting social impact across Australia. Working alongside an experienced Board and Executive team, you will contribute to governance, strategy, sustainability and growth while helping more young people discover the lifelong benefits of generosity and community service.

We are particularly seeking expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Fundraising, Philanthropy & Donor Relations
• Technology, Digital Transformation, IT & Cyber Security
• Marketing, Brand & Communications
• People & Culture / Human Resources
• Legal & Governance
• Government Relations, Public Policy & Advocacy

Previous Board experience is welcomed but not essential. We encourage experienced executives who are looking to begin or expand their governance journey to apply.

Board Commitment

• Approximately six Board meetings each year
• Participation on at least one Board committee
• Attendance at selected Kids Giving Back events
• Voluntary (unpaid) position
