Kentish Regional Clinic (KRC) is looking for a Chief Executive Officer to do just this.
Our incoming Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, growth, and success of the organisation. This CEO provides leadership, vision, and guidance to all stakeholders, ensuring that the organisation operates effectively and achieves its goals.
Supported by a Board of Governance, you will continue to build a solid future for KRC through our core business, values, objectives and activities. You will achieve this by expanding KRC’s funding capacity and community partnerships. Through ensuring effective and efficient delivery of our training suite and professional, participant focussed approach to building resilient communities, you will maintain our organisation’s focus, sustainability and integrity.
In summary, the KRC CEO is responsible for strategic leadership, financial stewardship, stakeholder engagement, organisational development, public representation, program oversight, and compliance.

Commencing in September 2026, you can become a CEO who:
- Expands KRC’s programs throughout Australia.
- Builds and maintains relationships across diverse stakeholders including staff, volunteers, funders, community members, government and non-government agencies to grow partnerships and opportunities.
- Ensures the continuation and ongoing development of all KRC programs including our nationally accredited CORES Suicide Prevention Training.
- Ensures all KRC team members and volunteers are supported.
Effective Leadership and Strategic Direction
- Develops and communicates vision, mission, and strategic goals.
- Drives growth, funding, and long-term sustainability.
- Fosters innovation, manages risks, and identifies opportunities.
Financial and Organisational Management
- Oversees budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Implements internal controls and risk mitigation.
- Recruits, develops, and retains a high-performing team.
- Promotes a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional development.
Stakeholder and External Relations
- Builds relationships with the Board, staff, funders, government, and community partners.
- Acts as the public face, representing KRC at events and media.

Key Qualifications and Responsibilities
- Proven leadership in not-for-profit or community sectors.
- Strong strategic, financial, and relationship management skills.
- Experience with training programs and community engagement.
- Responsible for staff supervision, performance appraisals, and compliance with conduct and safety policies.
Selection Criteria
- Proven experience as a CEO or in a senior leadership role within the not-for-profit, community or human services sector.
- Demonstrated ability to lead with vision, integrity and a commitment to community wellbeing and social impact.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities, with a history of successfully driving organisational growth and sustainability.
- Sound financial management skills, including budgeting, funding compliance and reporting.
- Experience working with or reporting to a Board of Governance.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholders including staff, volunteers, funders, community members and government and non-government agencies.
- Experience in overseeing training programs or community workshops is highly desirable.
- High level of adaptability, emotional intelligence and capacity to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, risk management and ethical governance practices.
- Qualifications in community services, management, business, education/training, or a related field, are desirable.
This position will commence September 2026.
