We are looking for a values driven person with strong people management skills and a deep understanding of policy research and written submissions to be our newest Manager, Policy and Projects.
Purple Orange is a purpose-led organisation that works in partnership with the disability community to make the world more accessible and inclusive. We do this through our policy team who craft strong submissions and responses to government at all levels, centred on the social model of disability. We also undertake multiple long-term projects, shorter fee for service engagements and host peer networks that all drive positive change for people with disability.
The new Purple Orange Manager, Policy Projects will join a small team of other managers who are tasked with support to staff who undertake work in each of these areas, with a responsibility for overseeing budgets, project plants, reviewing and approving policy submissions and contributing to our strong culture of inclusion, building intersectionality and uplifting staff to help them thrive.
This 12-month contract is offered at .7FTE (negotiable).

JFA Purple Orange is an Adelaide-based social-profit organisation with a mission to create a more inclusive world where people with disability have access to the same opportunities as everyone else.
We host peer networks and run other events for people with disability and their families to connect with information and each other. We conduct research, run consultations and contribute to policy development. We also deliver projects that influence practice through training workshops. We work closely with people with disability, in line with the principles of co-design.
