IWDA is an Australian-based organisation, resourcing diverse women’s rights organisations, primarily in Asia and the Pacific, and contributing to global feminist movements to advance our vision of gender equality for all.
We resource the work of diverse women’s rights organisations, enable them to be more effective by providing support that goes beyond money, and we make our own contributions to feminist movements through advocacy, knowledge creation and translation.

The Director, Resource Mobilisation & Communications spearheads a transformative approach to revenue generation and outreach at IWDA. This pivotal role transcends conventional fundraising methods, embracing a vision that encompasses broader partnerships and innovative funding avenues.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this visionary leader is tasked with revolutionising IWDA's financial landscape and amplifying its influence.
The role holder will increase connection and leverage opportunities between all sources of funding by overseeing integrated fundraising and communications functions and by creating and building relationships with major donors (individuals, trusts, foundations and corporates).
This is a permanent, full-time role. Classified at SCHADS 7 and paid a competitive, above Award salary, plus superannuation and salary packaging.

IWDA is committed to the wellbeing and safety of our staff including with respect to COVID-19. All our team members are able to work flexibly from home as well as from our office in Melbourne. All staff are fully equipped to work productively and safely from their homes. As long as it is COVID-19 safe, the candidate will be expected to work from our physical office space at least two days a week.
