Lead organisation-wide digital, data and technology transformation as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
ChildFund Australia is an independent international development organisation working to create a world where every child can reach their full potential.
Partnering with children, families and communities across Australia, Asia and the Pacific, ChildFund supports locally led solutions that strengthen education, child protection, health, livelihoods and climate resilience.
As the organisation continues to evolve, ChildFund Australia is investing in its digital, data and technology capability to strengthen organisational performance, improve decision-making and enable greater impact.
By building more connected systems and data capability, the organisation is creating stronger foundations to support its people, enhance supporter and partner experiences, and deliver better outcomes for the children and communities it serves.
This newly created Executive Leadership Team position presents an opportunity to shape the future of ChildFund Australia's digital, data and technology capability.
Created in response to the organisation's growing strategic ambition, this role will help bridge the gap between ChildFund Australia's current systems and data environment and its future vision, ensuring technology and data become true enablers of organisational performance, innovation and impact.
Importantly, this role is broader than a traditional technology role. It leads significant technology and systems change — evolving and modernising platforms so they keep pace with the organisation’s growing ambitions — alongside the people, process, data and cultural change that determines whether that investment delivers. Success depends on owning both: the technical transformation and the organisational change around it.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead organisation-wide digital transformation, ensuring technology, systems and data become strategic enablers of organisational performance, innovation and impact. Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, you will drive enterprise-wide change that improves organisational integration, supports better decision-making and enables more connected ways of working across fundraising, programs, finance and corporate services.
You'll play a pivotal role in reducing system fragmentation, improving organisational integration and helping teams adopt more connected, data-informed ways of working that strengthen collaboration and organisational performance.
Supporter experience is one of ChildFund Australia’s most important assets and a key driver of future revenue. A central focus of this role is ensuring technology and data enable an outstanding supporter experience across the full lifecycle — from acquisition and engagement through to retention and lifetime value.
A key priority will be leading the next phase of ChildFund Australia's Business Systems Transformation Project. You will guide the development of future-state systems architecture and implementation roadmap, while leading organisational change, governance, adoption and benefits realisation to ensure technology investments deliver meaningful outcomes across the organisation.
This is an opportunity to build long-term organisational capability by embedding technology, data and digital thinking at the heart of ChildFund Australia's future strategy.
We're seeking an experienced executive leader with a strong track record delivering enterprise-wide digital and organisational transformation in complex environments. The right person may come from a transformation, change, operations or consulting background as readily as a technology one.
You will bring:
As a not-for-profit, ChildFund Australia offers generous salary-packaging benefits that increase your take-home pay, alongside flexible hybrid working and the opportunity to do genuinely purpose-driven work.
ChildFund Australia is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people and has zero tolerance for child abuse and exploitation. All appointments are subject to background checks, including a National Police Check and a Working with Children Check.
