Working closely with the Senior Manager Governance and Risk, Executive Leadership Team and governance committees, you will provide expert governance advice, lead key governance frameworks and oversee Freedom of Information (FOI) processes across multiple Australian jurisdictions.

You will bring exceptional attention to detail, strong judgement and outstanding communication skills, with the confidence to work collaboratively with executives, committee members and regulators in a complex national environment.
The Office of the National Rail Safety Regulator (ONRSR) is the independent statutory body responsible for national rail safety. Headquartered in Adelaide and with offices across Australia, ONRSR is deeply committed to promoting and improving rail safety.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Governance and Risk, you will play a key role in strengthening ONRSR's governance frameworks and ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory obligations across all Australian jurisdictions.
You will lead governance committee operations, provide expert secretariat services, oversee Freedom of Information processes and partner with stakeholders across the organisation to develop governance policies, improve compliance frameworks and embed best practice governance.
Your work will directly contribute to organisational transparency, accountability and continuous improvement while supporting Executive Leadership and Board Committees in making informed decisions.
