The Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife (FNPW) is driving meaningful change for Australia’s environment by protecting endangered species, restoring critical habitats and supporting high-impact conservation initiatives nationwide. Through its work, FNPW is helping preserve some of the country’s most treasured natural landscapes and ecosystems for future generations.
Working alongside communities, Traditional Owners, scientists and conservation partners, FNPW delivers innovative solutions to some of Australia’s most urgent environmental challenges, including climate change, biodiversity loss and bushfire recovery.
Beyond conservation, FNPW is inspiring Australians to take an active role in protecting the natural world. Through education, awareness and community-led initiatives, the Foundation is fostering a more resilient and sustainable future for Australia’s wildlife, natural landscapes and communities.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the financial future of one of Australia’s leading conservation organisations while directly contributing to large-scale environmental impact. By leading the finance function and driving strategic financial innovation, you will help unlock new sources of capital to support projects that protect biodiversity, restore ecosystems and strengthen conservation outcomes nationwide. Your leadership will influence how investment is deployed across philanthropy, government, corporate partnerships and emerging environmental markets, creating sustainable funding pathways for long-term environmental change.
You will play a key role in strengthening the organisation’s capability, governance and readiness for growth. Through building a high-performing finance function, enhancing systems and processes and providing trusted strategic advice to the CEO and Board, you will help position FNPW for its next phase of impact and expansion. This is a rare opportunity to combine commercial leadership with purpose-driven work, leaving a lasting legacy for Australia’s environment, communities and future generations.
You are a strategic, impact-driven financial leader who brings clarity, confidence and momentum to a growing organisation. You thrive in dynamic environments and are motivated by building capability and enabling meaningful conservation outcomes.
