Timboon & District Healthcare Service (TDHS) is seeking an experienced and suitably qualified health executive for this outstanding career opportunity. TDHS is a Multi-Purpose Service (MPS) that provides a broad range of acute, aged care, primary care and community-based health services across the Timboon and district region. This district comprises approximately 7,700 residents and lies in the southern part of the Corangamite Shire and the far east of Moyne Shire. In addition to the thriving town of Timboon the catchment includes Cobden, Simpson and the Great Ocean Road towns of Princetown, Port Campbell, Peterborough and Nullawarre.

The key purposes of the CEO role are to enable the Board to fulfil its governance function; and to implement the strategic direction of TDHS ensuring the organisation maintains an excellent reputation, meets statutory regulations and complies with the Victorian Department of Health policies and procedures. The CEO is responsible for the operational, clinical, financial and human resource management of TDHS. You will actively establish and maintain relationships with health professionals, sustain positive relationships within the community, and work collaboratively with partner agencies in the South West Local Health Service Network.

To meet the requirements of the role you will hold a relevant tertiary degree with post graduate qualifications in a clinical field, health administration, business or quality management. You will also need to demonstrate a proven history of executive-level leadership skills in a complex organisation that demonstrates achievement in delivering high-quality health services, achieving key performance indicators, achieving budget targets within tight fiscal constraints. The Board is keen to secure a candidate that has strong leadership credentials demonstrating high levels of integrity, transparency, and establishment of trust. Previous administrative experience in a Victorian small rural public health service is desirable.
