Tjiwarl Contracting Services is seeking experienced Non-Executive Directors to join its Board as the business enters a major growth phase.

Tjiwarl Contracting Services is the commercial subsidiary of Tjiwarl (Aboriginal Corporation) RNTBC, which is the prescribed body corporate that holds the native title rights and interests of the Tjiwarl native title holders on trust.

Tjiwarl Contracting Services is looking for candidates with strong financial and commercial acumen and experience in sectors such as mining services, infrastructure, environmental services or contracting.

Degree in Finance or Accounting and GAICD preferred.

We are particularly interested in people with strengths in:

  • Financial and commercial strategy
  • Contracting or asset-intensive businesses
  • Growth-stage governance
  • Risk management and capital decision-making

You will work alongside Tjiwarl representatives to help guide strategy, support leadership and ensure strong governance as the business scales.

This is an opportunity to contribute to the growth of an Indigenous-owned enterprise delivering real economic outcomes.

A person is eligible for appointment if they are:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • An Australian Resident.
  • Not an Employee of Tjiwarl Contracting Services or Tjiwarl Aboriginal Corporation.
  • Has demonstrated skills and experience in financial management, corporate governance, accounting, business development, community development, government relations and/or law.
  • Within three months obtains a Western Australian Police Record Check.
  • Permitted by the Corporations Act (or an order made under the Corporations Act) or the CATSI Act to be a director.
