HiTalent is proud to be partnering with SEARMS to find a Support Services Manager for their Women and Children’s Domestic & Family Violence (DFV) Core & Cluster Program. This is a rare opportunity to lead a newly established culturally safe, trauma-informed service supporting women and children from Aboriginal and diverse cultural backgrounds in crisis accommodation across the Eurobodalla region.

This leadership role is central to the delivery of SEARMS’ Women and Children’s Domestic and Family Violence Core & Cluster Program, a culturally safe and trauma-informed crisis accommodation service. As the Support Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program, supervising Caseworkers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, client-centred support for Aboriginal women and children impacted by DFV.

As the Support Services Manager, you will:

• Establish and oversee day-to-day operations of the DFV Core & Cluster service
• Supervise and support a team of Caseworkers
• Ensure culturally safe, client-centred service delivery aligned with trauma-informed best practice
• Lead compliance, quality assurance and stakeholder engagement
• Build strong partnerships with community organisations and external service providers
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the program

You’ll be a key member of the leadership team and will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer.

Essential:

• Relevant qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services or similar
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing casework teams
• Understanding of Aboriginal culture, kinship, and community dynamics
• Knowledge of DFV frameworks, legal systems, and SHS/Core & Cluster models
• A commitment to culturally safe and trauma-informed practice
• Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Full driver’s licence, WWCC, Police Check, and First Aid

Desirable:

• Identifies as Aboriginal
• Experience working in an Aboriginal community-controlled organisation
• Familiarity with WHS, EEO, ASES, and NRSCH standards
