Are you passionate about making a difference? We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our Board and help guide the future of our organisation.

HLTF is a not-for-profit dedicated to supporting the heart and lung transplant community so that Western Australians who suffer from heart and/or lung disease have the opportunity to participate fully in their day-to-day life.

We are looking for a Board Member who shares our values and is eager to contribute their skills, insight, and leadership.

About the Role

As a Board Member, you will play a key role in:

• Providing strategic direction and governance
• Supporting our mission, vision, and values
• Contributing to decision-making and long-term planning
• Monitoring financial performance and sustainability
• Acting as an ambassador for the organisation within the community

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Is passionate about the not-for-profit sector and improving the lives of those who live with heart or lung disease.
• Brings experience in areas such as governance, finance, marketing, fundraising, education, or community engagement
• Has strong communication and collaboration skills
• Can commit time to attend regular board meetings, and contribute actively
• Is values-driven, thoughtful, and community-minded

Commitment

• Board meetings: held on the first Tuesday of every second month
• Additional involvement: Assist with events, in particular our annual Thanksgiving and Tree Planting Ceremony
• This is a voluntary (unpaid) position
