The IT team is part of the Digital Technology Services Division. The team supports our organisation's goals by ensuring high quality IT Support services are delivered across headspace national.

what you'll do

The Infrastructure Administrator is primarily responsible for working with and supporting all departments of headspace National to ensure that all IT administrative and security tasks and functions are carried out in accordance with the organisation's operational plan. Furthermore, the Infrastructure Administrator will provide support to all headspace centres for headspace National led IT initiatives. The incumbent will work to ensure that network infrastructure is operating effectively.

Working in this role, you will: 

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level IT support
  • Support, configure, maintain, upgrade, and monitor headspace IT infrastructure
  • Investigate, test and perform patch management of IT infrastructure including 3rd party applications
  • Lead projects which strengthen headspace's security posture
  • Continuously monitor headspace infrastructure against cybersecurity threats and identify mitigations
  • Implement and maintain security controls
  • Analyse security incidents and be a key member of the incident response team
  • Review and assessment of the current infrastructure and advise on areas for improvement, including process improvements

what you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in a corporate Infrastructure Administration position
  • A thorough understanding of network environments including VPNs, firewalls, WAF, subnets
  • Demonstrated windows server administration experience including AD, group policy and DNS
  • Demonstrated Azure environment administration experience
  • Competence to examine security from a holistic view, including threat modelling, risk, and vulnerability assessment
  • Experience in security incident handling and response
  • Excellent communication skills, very high level of attention to detail, ability to multitask and prioritise and strong stakeholder management skills.
