Gumtree Greys is an independent greyhound rescue that has helped ex-racing greyhounds find safety, care, and loving homes for more than a decade.

We are seeking a Board Director with expertise in fundraising, marketing, or public relations to help raise our profile, build strong partnerships, and support a sustainable future for our work.

What You'll Do

• Attend quarterly Board meetings and contribute to discussion and decision-making.
• Help shape the strategic direction of the organisation so more greyhounds can find safe, loving homes.
• Provide governance oversight and informed judgement to support sustainable growth.
• Contribute constructively to Board discussions and support collective decisions once made.
• Bring specialist advice and insight in your area of expertise.
• Work alongside fellow Board members who are committed to Gumtree Greys' mission and long-term success.

What We're Looking For

We welcome candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas. Fundraising, partnerships, marketing, or public relations experience is essential.

• Leadership, governance, or strategic planning experience (desirable)
• Business or operational management experience (desirable)
• Fundraising, partnerships, marketing, or public relations experience (essential)

Commitment

The average commitment is approximately four hours per week, with flexibility around days and times depending on projects, campaigns, or events.

Reimbursement

Gumtree Greys reimburses approved out-of-pocket volunteer expenses.
