Role Purpose

The Service Design Lead will play a key role in bringing service design, re-design, project visualisation and client journey mapping skills and capabilities to The Audacity Centre and Ecosystem Enablement to ensure that visual service design, business analysis and consulting methodologies result In delivering leading and Innovative client-centred approaches to our suite of impactful programs.   

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage service design projects utilising project management methodologies that set clear project milestones, allocate resources, and manage timelines to ensure the smooth execution of projects from concept through to scaling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders internally and externally, to generate new and groundbreaking ideas.
  • Developing self-employment and micro-enterprise programs
  • Work with colleagues, Innovation Lead, designers, engineers, and other experts to create functional prototypes in line with GSANZ's objectives.
  • Plan and conduct rigorous testing and validation of prototypes, gather feedback from target users, stakeholders, and experts to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. 

About you

  • Formal tertiary qualifications in design, social policy, social science, economics or other relevant discipline
  • Extensive experience working in design roles within a design consultancy or consulting to the community sector, a peak body, government department or statutory authority, with a track record of delivering human centred design projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in design, implementation, leadership and evaluation of new and innovative service models across the social and community sector
