The Children’s Family Violence Clinical Therapist delivers specialised, trauma-informed therapeutic support to children and their mothers who have experienced family violence. Working within the Strength to Strength Program, you will provide evidence-based interventions to support children’s recovery, emotional regulation and sense of safety.
This is a specialist clinical role suited to practitioners with a strong background in therapeutic work with children. Services are delivered through outreach and centre-based models, primarily based at Frankston, with travel across Sandringham and other sites as required.
A regular weekly presence at Hastings (minimum one day) is also required to support collaboration and integrated practice across partner organisations, with shared clinical supervision across organisations.
