We are looking for two Peer Support Workers with lived experience of domestic/family violence and/or sexual assault to join the Walking Beside Program at GenWest for a 12-month part-time role (0.4 FTE), starting in early July 2026.
The role involves supporting women and gender diverse people experiencing family violence through early support, connection, and care. Peer Support Workers will use their lived experience to walk alongside across several sessions, offering emotional support, understanding, and help connecting with services and community resources.
