About you

Demonstrating your professional experience in the coordination, delivery and evaluation of high quality education, you will have a background in education with experience in the facilitation of activities incorporating contemporary adult learning principles and practices. We are looking for someone who is confident in liaising with education, health or primary health care stakeholders at all levels, including networking and influencing others.

You demonstrate:

  • Experience in coordinating and promoting education programs and associated activities, preferably for adult learners.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with a high attention to detail and maintain accuracy, with excellent time management, analytical, and organisational skills
  • Ability to consult, negotiate, nurture, and build effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and quality improvement principles and practices
  • Intermediate computer skills, such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, with the ability to learn and use new systems quickly
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, to achieve project and organisational goals

The opportunity

Through active coordination, you will support and enable the delivery of high quality continuing professional development for GPs in South Australia and the Northern Territory. You’ll do this by facilitating the development, promotion, implementation and evaluation of educational initiatives within the framework of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate the CPD Program for SA&NT to ensure its objectives are met.
  • Develop, deliver and evaluate CPD education activities and initiatives for the SA&NT Faculty.
  • Ensure Faculty and RACGP Education Provider educational activities meet and comply with CPD Program criteria and standards.
  • Promote the CPD Program through liaison with stakeholders.
  • Manage the process of adjudication and auditing of CPD programs.
  • Support GPs to meet their educational requirements within the CPD framework.
  • Support RACGP Education Providers within the CPD Program by training CPD Representatives and coordinating the Service Agreement process.
  • General administration such as arranging meetings and using customer relationship and record management software.
