The role

The Partnerships Manager – Corporate plays a vital role in driving World Vision Australia’s Private Funding growth through high value, purpose aligned corporate partnerships. Responsible for managing and expanding an existing portfolio while building a strong pipeline of new opportunities, this role shapes sustainable revenue and supports long-term investment in World Vision’s programs.

Spanning the full partnership lifecycle—from lead qualification and relationship development to negotiation, contracting, stewardship and reporting—you will help deliver shared value outcomes for corporate organisations that align with WVA’s mission. Working closely with the Head of Donor Engagement and key internal stakeholders, you will blend strategic thinking with hands-on delivery to secure and steward meaningful corporate support.

About YOU

You are a proactive, relationship focused professional who thrives on building new connections, nurturing strong partnerships and delivering ‑high-quality engagement. You bring strong communication skills, the ability to present complex information clearly, and confidence working with internal and external stakeholders. You manage competing priorities well and are energised by opportunities to innovate, collaborate and deliver results.

You bring:

• 5+ years’ experience in corporate partnerships, business development or related fields, with demonstrated success generating significant gifts,
• Strong capability in identifying new opportunities, cultivating relationships and securing strategic partnerships,
• Experience preparing compelling proposals, budgets, reports and partnership updates,
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to present complex information clearly,
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite,
• Commercial acumen, strategic thinking and a collaborative working style,
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work effectively with cross functional teams,
• Knowledge of partnership brokering methodology in the not-for-profit sector,
• Relevant degree qualifications or equivalent experience.
