About the Role

This is a rewarding part-time opportunity (68.4 hours per fortnight) based in Wangaratta. Full-time will be considered for the right applicant. In this role, you will provide professional, trauma-informed case management to women who have experienced or are experiencing family violence.

Your focus will be on promoting safety, stability, recovery, and wellbeing through a strengths-based, client-centred approach. Drawing on your knowledge of family violence practice, local service systems, and community resources, you will support victim-survivors to navigate complex circumstances, manage risk, and work towards long-term safety and independence.

This role is classified under the Community Health Centre Stand Alone Services Social and Community Service Employees Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022, level 4 or 5 depending on experience ($44.58 – $53.31 per hour + superannuation).

Skills & Experience

To thrive in this role, you'll bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Health Sciences, Psychology, Behavioural and Social Sciences or relevant equivalent studies in similar fields and extensive experience in case management
  • Demonstrated experience in direct clinical service provision to women victim survivors and/or perpetrators of family violence Experience delivering high-quality, client-centred care to older adults or people living with a disability
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within the community, health or welfare sector, or related field.
  • Knowledge and understanding of: the drivers/causes of family violence; health and human services systems that respond to family violence, and relevant practice frameworks and theories.
