Future2 is now seeking a General Manager to lead the organisation into its next stage of growth.
Reporting to the Board through the Chair, the General Manager is responsible for the strategic leadership, day-to-day management and continued growth of Future2.

Working closely with the Board, the General Manager will oversee the organisation’s strategy, operations, finances, governance, risk, grants program, fundraising, partnerships, events, communications and small remote team.
The role will also play an important part in strengthening Future2’s profile and engagement across the financial services profession, identifying new opportunities for growth and ensuring the organisation continues to deliver meaningful community impact.
The General Manager will:
You will be a capable, practical and relationship-focused leader who enjoys working across a diverse range of responsibilities.
You will ideally bring senior leadership or general management experience, preferably within a not-for-profit or purpose-led organisation, together with experience working with or reporting to a Board.
You will have strong financial, governance and organisational capability, as well as demonstrated experience in areas such as fundraising, sponsorship, partnerships, business development, grants, events or stakeholder engagement.
You will be highly organised, proactive and accountable, with the ability to work independently while maintaining strong relationships with the Board, team and external stakeholders.
Most importantly, you will be motivated by the opportunity to grow a respected national foundation and increase its impact in communities across Australia.
This is a 0.8 FTE role (negotiable) and is remote, with attendance at meetings, industry events and stakeholder engagements as required.
