Avenue is not your average day program! We are a series of Co-Working Spaces for people of all abilities, regardless of their support needs; with a vision for a world in which work is accessible for all. Our mission is to build a national network of co-working spaces, bringing world-class work, social and learning opportunities to people of all abilities.
Avenue has coworking spaces in Frenchs Forest, Botany, Parramatta and Newcastle where our participants can join work teams, contribute to thriving microbusinesses and share in the profits, and exercise choice in which social events and activities they access in the community.
Currently supporting more than 420 people with disability, Avenue is empowered by Fighting Chance and inspired by the vision that people with disability have unbridled access to opportunity, dignity and prosperity as part of a truly inclusive economy.
The Avenue General Manager (AGM) is the strategic and operational lead, providing day-to-day leadership presence, while driving the innovation and growth agenda of this social enterprise. Reporting directly to the CEO, the AGM oversees the management of four existing Co-Working Spaces.
The AGM works closely with the CEO, Avenue Operations Development Manager (AODM), Fighting Chance (FC) Shared Services partners and in support of Hub Managers and leadership teams to ensure that the Avenue Enterprise delivers a high quality service to participants in line with the Avenue operating model.
