Your new company

Since 1962, Fairhaven Services Ltd have been providing services for people living with a disability within the Central Coast of NSW. Services include residential accommodation, community participation and supported employment. Fairhaven is a not-for-profit Organisation that encourages people to live independently and comfortably so that they can achieve what they want from life. ​

Your new role

As the CEO, you will be responsible to work with the Board to provide the highest level of strategic decision making that contributes and directs the organisation’s overall performance. This is a relatively hands-on role in the day to day functions of the business, supported by senior managers and working closely with the board members. As the leader for this business, you will be able to engage employees to bring them on board with our shared vision. Creating positive changes in the culture so that staff regard Fairhaven as an employer of choice, installing better ways of operating whilst minimising costs, and identifying opportunities to create strong alliances for the greater good of this well-established organisation and its clients.

What you'll need to succeed

A strong empathetic approach is essential, as well as demonstrated experience in NDIS compliance and a background in managing financially successful NFP operations. You will exude naturally high levels of compassion, enabling you to work well with our clients and staff whilst using your experience to improve operations. You will be experienced with creating local alliances and reinforcing our reputation that attracts volunteers and philanthropic support from a broad cross section of the community on the Central Coast and surrounds.

You will be rewarded with a full-time leadership role (3 year contract) based on the beautiful NSW Central Coast, working closely with a diverse team of board members. Salary will be commensurate with experience while a range up to $170k Package including Superannuation and PBI tax concessions is a good indicator.
