Emama Nguda Aboriginal Corporation was formed in 1994 for the purpose of improving the living conditions and quality of life of its Aboriginal members by providing vital resources and services.

ROLE PURPOSE & DETAILS OF POSITION:

Reporting to the CEO, this position is multi-faceted and includes line management accountability, coaching and data management and analysis across a range of programs including Night Patrol, Housing, T120 and AOD programs and teams.

Key accountabilities include:

  1. Line Management – Direct reports: Team Leaders - Night Patrol, Housing, T120 and AOD.
  2. Support and coaching to the Housing Officers.
  3. Ensuring all program activities are compliant with the funding contract, relevant frameworks, corporation policies, mandatory reporting, best practice guidelines and WHS standards.
  4. Overseeing data capture, analysis and reporting. 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Effective coaching / mentoring skills.
  2. Experience conducting, monitoring, and reviewing risk assessment strategies and plans.
  3. ​Experience identifying and reporting on quality improvement activities.
  4. Strong report writing skills.
  5. Understanding/awareness of local services to whom clients may be referred.
  6. ​Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills.
  7. ​Competent computer and systems skills, including data bases and Microsoft Office Suite of products.
  8. ​Experience dealing with challenging behaviours.

Desirable 

  1. Tertiary qualified in social work/community services and/or relevant experience.
  2. Well established networks with police, support services and other inter-agencies within Derby.
  3. Previous experience working in an ACCO.

3. Drivers Licence  

REMUNERATION

  • $81,072k -$86,613k per annum Base Salary - dependent on experience / skills / qualifications against the job criteria. 
  • KPI Bonus Scheme / Annual Airfare, District Allowance, Leave Entitlements as per ACO Award
